There are a number of options available if you must travel to attend the 2008 Southeast Regional Society for Developmental Biology Meeting.

TRAVEL BY AIR
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is served by most major and small carriers. These include Airtran, American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, United, and US Airways.

Typical Fares
Fares will vary depending on when you travel, which airline you use, and how far in advance you book your flights. For a quick comparison of prices on all the airlines that serve your city and Atlanta visit Expedia, Orbitz, or Travelocity.

Getting To and From the Airport
Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is located approximately 15 miles southwest of the Emory Conference Center and Emory Inn. A cab ride from the airport to the Emory Conference Center will cost from $30 to $40 and will take approximately 25 minutes with normal traffic. Allow at least an hour's travel time during weekday rush hour 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Car Rentals
You may also want to consider renting a car, although this is not a necessity. Car rental agencies are located at airport and include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, National, and Thrifty. Directions from the airport to the Conference Center are given at the Emory Conference Center website.

IF YOU DRIVE
Atlanta has a number of major Interstate highways that pass through the city, including I 75, I 85, and I 20. For directions from your location to the Emory Conference Center the meeting organizers recommend using Mapquest, Google or the Hotel site. There is no charge to park at the Emory Inn or at the Conference Center.

MEETING VENUE
All meeting activities, including meals and entertainment, will be held at the Emory Conference Center Hotel, 1615 Clifton Road, Atlanta (404-712-6000). The Emory Inn is located next to the Conference Center Hotel. It is a two minute walk from the Inn to the Hotel.
