Research Interests I am interested in how neurons process inputs and how networks of neurons process information.
Currently I am doing phase response analysis of a morphologically realistic,
multicompartmental globus pallidus neuron model. I hope to use a convergence
of modeling and brain slice electrophysiology to elucidate mechanisms of synchronization
in neuronal populations, with application to oscillations and synchronizations
that emerge in the basal ganglia with Parkinson's disease.
