From Molecules to Ecology
As a FIRST postdoc, Jen has worked on several projects in the lab, including characterization of genes transferred into the genome of spider mites from fungi and assays of gene expression in aphids. She has worked closely with undergraduate Kelly Costopoulos to explore aphid-ladybug-symbiont interactions. Jen will begin as an assistant professor at Spelman College in Fall 2012.
