Fungal Genomics
Tom is visiting the lab from Wageningan University in the Netherlands, where as a master student he worked on the assembly and analysis of the first tomato genome. He is applying those skills to the genome of Escovopsis, a pathogen that attacks the fungus of fungus-growing ants.
