Overview

An important part of the educational mission of the Department of Biology is the instruction and training of graduate students. Graduate training in the department is conducted under the aegis of the Graduate Division of Biological and Biomedical Sciences (GDBBS). Graduate students are admitted to the Division and can subsequently elect to pursue doctoral degrees under the supervision of a Biology faculty member.
